Things to do in Mingshui

哈尔滨工业大学是全国重点大学，分两个小区，一个在大直街上，一个在黄河路上。是机器人研发基地，这个大学可以预约参观，里面有很多可参观的东西，去了以后很受教育。非常值得参观。校园里，树丛密布，景色宜人，到处可见莘莘学子刻苦学习的样子，再经济发展方面对地方很有帮助。

As a non-chinese, you could ask the security staff for entry because scanning QR code to book a visit doesn't work for foreigners. I was surprised that the Chinese government took a lot of effort for this museum because the whole building is designed and built just for this particular exhibition. The whole exhibition doesn't show gruesome pictures or is scary as many might think. Instead, it is very eye opening by giving you a fuller picture and different angles of what this is all about, not just one side. However, as a lot of evidences related with the experiment were destroyed by Japanese Imperial Army or given to the Americans to grant amnesty for those involved, there are a lot of testimony content by the staff when the unit 731 was operational, which could or couldn't be fact checked. If you like anything related with WW 2, this museum is a must visit. Definitely there is no such museum in Japan but countries like Korea, China or Singapore who experienced atrocities from Japan during the war.

Free cotton-padded clothes, trousers, and shoes were provided. However, for a native of Northeast China, entering the venue didn't feel particularly surprising. This attraction is more suitable for people from the south to experience ice lanterns and snow in the summer.

This was my second time bringing my family to Sunac Land. The price wasn't cheap, but it was definitely fun. Since it was before May Day, I was a little worried that not all rides would be open, but it exceeded my expectations. The staff (including those in the food service) were very welcoming. A pleasant surprise was that all the safety instructions were given manually, not recorded. The guy on the island boat was incredibly witty – no wonder everyone in Northeast China is known for his humor! My top recommendation is the Grand Circus – you absolutely can't miss it! It's comparable to the famous Cirque du Soleil.

The park isn't large, but it's home to a high concentration of chipmunks, who are very friendly and will even come to your hand for food. The hiking trails are short; you can choose to walk along the boardwalk or take a sightseeing bus. It's suitable for families with elderly members and children.

Harbin trip comes to an end! The hot spring town's hot spring hot pot was truly legendary. The indoor hot spring pools are quite varied, with different temperatures available. However, if you come during the week, some pools are closed, and the children's pool is a bit too cold. It's much less crowded during the week, mostly with foreigners. There's no food service, only à la carte options; the Chinese restaurant is decent. During lunch break, there were always people working in the rest area, which was quite noisy for some reason. Service needs improvement, and attention to detail is needed!

The indoor temperature is constant and very comfortable, the snow is fine and smooth, and the slopes are wide and safe. Fully equipped, the experience is superb, suitable for all seasons, and offers excellent value for money – highly recommended!

One particularly good thing is that the animal food is incredibly cheap, only 10 yuan a serving. It seems to be the most affordable zoo in Qiqihar among all the zoos in the country. There's a huge variety of animals, and many activities for children, all of which are free. There are also many attractions, which is great. The kids can look at the animal exhibits and then play on the slides. The electric carts are also very convenient, with parking available everywhere. There are also parades, making it a very enjoyable experience. I would definitely bring my kids back again if I have the chance.
