Reviews: Sunshine Coast: Whale Watching Cruise on Jet Boat
Guest User2026-10-14
Amazing experience! Booking, queries, parking and boarding were all easy. We saw dolphins within the first few minutes. The crew found some whales very quickly, and we had plenty of time with them as they swam around the boat and put on a spectacular display of activity. A highlight was a baby whale jumping right out of the water very close to the boat. The boat was very comfortable, everyone had a good view and it was easy to move around. Captain “Shorty” kept up a running commentary of whale facts, personal anecdotes and observations which was very entertaining. Sandy got some good action photos of the whale acrobatics which we purchased afterwards. Part of the proceeds go to animal conservation via Australia Zoo hospital, and we were also given a 20% discount for lunch at a local pub. We couldn’t believe our luck that the whales were so relaxed and interactive! Thanks to the crew for a wonderful experience- highly recommend!

Reviews: Brisbane Moreton Island 1-day tour [optional dolphin watching and dolphin feeding | choose 1 of 5 | Moreton Island]

It was a bad day, but it didn't dampen our spirits at all for whale watching and feeding wild dolphins. Although the whales didn't leap perfectly out of the water, only their backs and tails were visible, the dolphin feeding experience was fantastic. It was my first time being so close to them, and it made me realize how beautiful it is to see humans and animals living in harmony. If we had more time, staying overnight on Moreton Island would have been even better.

Reviews: Brisbane whale watching 1-day tour (includes lunch and refreshments, guide and optional seating/city area transfers)

Overall, it was a great experience. I stayed at the InterContinental Brisbane, and since the bus couldn't stop for long at the hotel, they picked me up about 300 meters away. They emailed me beforehand, but I didn't reply. That evening, a customer service representative called me to confirm, and the service was excellent. As for the whale watching itself, this tour provider is the best in Brisbane, and it was very good. I highly recommend buying VIP seats with pick-up and drop-off—it's hassle-free and the scenery is fantastic!
