You can install it directly through the Trip.com app. While real-name verification is typically required in Taiwan, this e-SIM is convenient because it doesn't require it. You can install it in advance at Incheon Airport, and once you arrive in Taiwan, you just need to adjust the settings to use it immediately. If it doesn't work right away, simply turning your phone off and on once or twice should resolve the issue. (This applies to all e-SIMs.) I didn't experience any slowness or issues while using it. I used it without any inconvenience. It's affordable and convenient, so I like it.★

I used it during a transit layover. I had purchased and activated it using another app before leaving Japan, but it didn't work when I arrived at my destination, so I quickly purchased it through Trip.com.
