Liuqiu Island
Ryukyu Island, commonly known as Xiaoliuqiu, is a coral reef island in the southwest of Pingtung Port, Taiwan. It is currently under the jurisdiction of Ryukyu Township, Pingtung County, and is also included in the Dapeng Bay National Scenic Area. The famous natural wonder "Vase Stone" on the island is a must-visit place for tourists to visit and take pictures, and the "Sunset Viewing Pavilion" is a very good sunset viewing spot in Taiwan. "Beauty Cave" and the island's tourist attraction "Wugui Cave", the landscape is peculiar and breathtaking. Eluanbi Park
The Cape Eluanbi Lighthouse, hailed as the "Beacon of East Asia," boasts geological, ecological, and cultural-historical significance. During the Japanese colonial period, it was voted one of the "Eight Views of Taiwan," and a monument was erected to commemorate this honor. An Incredible Experience at the National Museum of Marine Biology & AquariumOur visit to the National Museum of Marine Biology & Aquarium was one of the highlights of our Taiwan trip! The exhibits are beautifully designed, and the massive aquarium tanks make you feel like you’re exploring the ocean itself.We especially loved the underwater shipwreck display, where sharks and colorful tropical fish swam gracefully around the ruins—it felt like stepping into a real underwater adventure. Seeing lionfish, rays, and so many different marine species up close was truly unforgettable.The museum is clean, well-maintained, and suitable for visitors of all ages. There are plenty of educational displays, making it both fun and informative. We spent several hours exploring and still wished we had more time.If you’re visiting southern Taiwan, this attraction is definitely worth adding to your itinerary. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or as a couple, it’s an amazing experience

Great amusement to spend the day. Not too big, and most people usually go to the food court in the mall to eat, so thankfully re-entry is allowed via stamp.Saturday I think the park closes a little later then the weekdays, so there was also another show that was played outside.I can imagine during peak times this place will be packed, so enjoy it before it gets to that point.Best place would be more for couples or families.

It's worth a whole day's play. We hired a car and the driver was very enthusiastic. He introduced all the way and took the initiative to take photos. I was very tired after a day's play, but I was also very happy. I hope that cross-strait connectivity can be realized soon so that I can go again.

Fo Guang Temple, located on Fo Guang Mountain in the suburbs of Kaohsiung City, is a famous Buddhist resort, known as the "Buddhist Capital of Taiwan". It is the most orthodox Buddhist temple with the most complete facilities among the countless Buddhist temples I have seen. Fo Guang Mountain, where Fo Guang Temple is located, is also a holy mountain that is truly illuminated by the Buddha's light. This mountain is composed of five small peaks shaped like lotus petals in the Buddha Kingdom, and the terrain has the characteristics of the Buddha's Pure Land. The forest on the mountain is dense and deep, the ancient trees are towering and shrouded in smoke, the purple air slowly crosses the mountain, and the auspicious air floats quietly in the forest. The majestic and sparse Fo Guang Temple stands quietly in this elegant and pure land, appearing particularly solemn and sacred.

A relatively historically significant attraction that tells the history of Taiwan's secession. The consulate is on a hill and you need to climb stairs. The view from above is nice, and you can see Kaohsiung city and the sea. It is convenient to buy tickets on the platform, and there are sticky notes for free. The price is cheaper than buying tickets on site.

Perfect, Serene Experience for Families and Seniors! This tour is incredibly elderly-friendly. I traveled with my mother, and she felt very comfortable throughout the trip. The service was homely, and the boat itself has plenty of seating with a stable, smooth ride. A huge highlight was the atmosphere—there was no loud, blasting music, making it a very serene way to enjoy the river. Our guide was very informative, sharing the interesting history of the Love River as we passed landmarks like the illuminated Kaohsiung Music Center and the Great Harbor Bridge.Tip: If you are a couple looking for a private, romantic vibe, the gondolas might be better. But for families or those traveling with parents, the Love Boat is the perfect choice for a relaxing, educational tour
