Although it rained heavily that day and my shoes were soaked all day, it didn't dampen my spirits at all. The deer in Nara were so cute, it was just a pity the interaction time was too short! The matcha ramen and matcha takoyaki in Uji weren't very flavorful; I felt the matcha drinks, matcha churros, and matcha grilled dumplings were much more delicious! Fushimi Inari was exactly like in the anime, magnificent! I've also attached photos of Todai-ji Temple, Byodo-in Temple, and the Uji River. This day was truly fulfilling and well worth it!

I love this tour of the many cities compacted into 1 day. It was perfect for our family of 5. Our tour guide Valerie, was very knowledgeable about the areas and history of the locations we visited. She also had handy links for places to eat and visited after our trip. We were especially impressed with her helping us with the kimono rental on our tour. She helped us with our kimono outfits and took lovely family photos. She always kept us informed along the trip, so we never got lost. We wished there was more time to explore however we know where to go when we come back to Japan again.

It was a very enjoyable trip, packed with activities, and every attraction was great – definitely worth the money! My favorite attraction was surprisingly the Water Palace, and the Jukundo shop was also great – the happiness pancakes were so delicious! Our guide in Tai'an was excellent, with steady driving skills and attentive service; they even provided complimentary iced drinks in the summer – a delightful surprise!
