Yiyuan Garden is a long-established private garden in Nanxun, with an exquisite layout, a wide lake, and winding pavilions and corridors. It's much less crowded than Xiaolianzhuang Garden, making it quiet and comfortable. Lush greenery and schools of koi carp make it perfect for a leisurely stroll and taking photos, allowing you to experience the elegance of a Jiangnan garden. Online tickets offer direct entry and are good value. It's a good place to rest after exploring the main street of the ancient town.

The scenery is beautiful and the air is fresh, but there are many steps. Fortunately, the shuttle bus within the scenic area is quite convenient. It's worth a visit, but don't have high expectations for the sword pool; just enjoy the scenery.

We made a last-minute decision to go on a weekend trip. I saw a video on XHS of the fireworks display at Taihu Longemont Shopping Mall and thought it looked pretty good, so we decided to bring our baby. Since the main purpose was to watch the fireworks, we booked a view room at the Ancient Town Hotel. We originally booked twin beds, but the customer service staff combined them into a super king-size bed, which was incredibly comfortable. I must mention our housekeeper, Xiaojing, who contacted us immediately and reserved a very popular room for us. The balcony of our room offered an unobstructed view of the fireworks – it was fantastic! Her response to our needs was also very prompt, and her service was excellent. Thank you so much!

The zoo + amusement park experience wasn't as good as Cloud Grassland. The park is quite large, and a day there was pretty fulfilling, so it was a good choice. The highlight was the close-up animal viewing, and at the end, you could feed the black swans on the lawn, which the kids enjoyed.

An incredible surprise in Huzhou! 🎭✨ Taihu Performance City is enormous, with themed areas, restaurants, street dancers, horses, camels, ice-skating shows and spectacular productions. Plan at least half a day, ideally a full day! Just for very few performances you need to pay extra.The Taihu Lake-themed show was my favourite, featuring water effects, aerial acrobatics, moving stages and immersive storytelling. For the Xi Shi production, I recommend VIP seats (58 RMB/person) for the best view.⚠️ The main downside is the language barrier: almost everything is in Chinese, with very few English-speaking staff and limited or no subtitles. Use an AI translation app to understand the stories and ask for the show schedule.As a performing arts professional, I loved the creativity and production scale. Highly recommended! ❤️

Getting a ticket on trip is easy and entry into the area is straightforward . Amazing experience to watch. The show was breathtaking from start to end. Tip-Try to get to the venue at least 20mins before the start time in order to get good seats.
