Shenyang Imperial Palace is located in Shenhe District of Shenyang and is one of only two complete palace complexes that remain in China. It served as the imperial palace during the Later Jin dynasty, but became a regional palace after the capital of the Qing dynasty was changed to Beijing. Shenyang Imperial Palace Museum not only boasts exquisite ancient palace architecture, but also has a wealth of valuable items in its collections; there are, for example, a large number of relics left over from the old imperial palace. Shenyang Imperial Palace is divided into three parts according to the architectural layout and construction sequence: the eastern area is the portion built by Nurgaci, including Dazheng Hall; the central area is the portion built by Hong Taiji; and the western area is the portion built by Emperor qianlong, including Wenshuo Pavilion.China · Shenyang

Ji'an Donggou tombs are distributed in the Donggou plain area surrounded by mountains, stretching for dozens of miles, with a wide range, many types of tombs, and profound connotations. The majestic tombs in the entire tomb group are the royal mausoleums and the tombs of prominent officials in the middle of the 4th century AD. They are all stepped stone tombs with square altars, and there are 400 existing ones. After the 5th century AD, the stone tombs, which were huge and cost-intensive, were gradually replaced by exquisitely constructed earthen tombs. These ancient tombs contain a large number of ancient cultural relics.Ji'an · 2.3 km from downtown

The area north of Tianchi Lake in Changbai Mountain is known as the North attraction of Changbai Mountain. There are more attractions here than on the West Slope and South Slope, but there are also more visitors.attractionThe Changbai Mountain Waterfall, Julong Spring, and Valley Forest are all classic geological wonders. You can also take a shuttle bus to experience the rapid curves and then overlook the beautiful scenery of Changbai Mountain Tianchi from the steep main peak. Upon entering the attraction, you must first take an eco-friendly bus to the transfer center. From there, you can choose to take the shuttle bus on the left-hand road to view the main peak and Changbai Mountain Tianchi Lake, or take the eco-friendly bus on the right-hand road to view Changbai Waterfall. If the weather is good in the morning, you can go up to the main peak first when there are fewer visitors and take the shuttle bus (usually a Mercedes-Benz van, 20 minutes one-way) to experience the thrill of continuously and rapidly navigating the curves on the winding mountain road. After getting off the shuttle bus, it's about a ten-minute walk uphill to the top. There are two routes, A and B, with signs indicating them. Usually, you take route A to the top and then continue on route B to descend, avoiding backtracking. If time is limited, you can complete route A and then descend directly via the steps between the two routes. Take the eco-friendly bus from the transfer center directly to the waterfall parking lot (10 minutes one-way). Walk up the boardwalk for a short distance to see Julong Spring and Changbai Waterfall. That waterfall is the outlet of Tianchi Lake, and its 68-meter drop is truly spectacular. The hot spring plaza here sells uniquely flavored hot spring eggs, which you can try. You can also wash your hands in the nearby hot spring pool and experience the volcanic hot spring. It's a five-minute drive from the waterfall parking lot by eco-bus.Little Heavenly Lake,Little Heavenly LakeIt's a tranquil little lake, its surface reflecting the elegant forms of the trees. After lingering for a few minutes, you can return along the boardwalk, where you can see the Erdao Baihe River flowing through the narrow canyon. After about 15 minutes of walking, you'll reach the entrance to Green Abyss Pool. There's a large restaurant called Lanjing Fast Food here that offers lunch; it's located within the attraction, but the prices are relatively high. Green Abyss Pool is a pool of emerald green water, with a waterfall cascading down the cliff on one side. On the way back along the boardwalk after visiting Green Abyss Pool, you'll see Jade Spring. From the parking lot in front of Blue View Fast Food, it's a five-minute drive to...Entrance to the Valley ForestStrolling along the boardwalk through the primeval forest is very pleasant. At the end, you can overlook the forest that sinks into the valley, but you cannot go down to the bottom of the valley at present. The valley forest is the closest scenic spot to the mountain gate. It is about a 40-minute drive from the attraction.Erdaobaihe TownIt's a major tourist hub, with various hotels, shops, restaurants, and bars, all reasonably priced. If you have some free time, you can visit the Changbai Mountain Natural History Museum in town, or watch a traditional folk opera performance at the Northeast Wind Changbai Mountain Grand Theatre. Nearby attractions like the Daxitaihe scenic area and the Magic scenic area are also worth checking out.China · Antu

This was the capital of the Qing Dynasty before the Manchus entered the Central Plains. While not as large as the Forbidden City in Beijing, the buildings are of very high standard and were all built with power supply in mind. Although the buildings are a size or two smaller than those in Beijing, they are fully functional, especially the Shiwangdian area, where the square is very spacious and photogenic.

There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.

Changbai Mountain, true to its name, is incredibly clean! The restrooms in all areas were spotless, with sensor-activated flushes and hot water for handwashing – a truly touching experience for an autumn/winter trip. The restrooms had different themes, such as sables and black bears, adding a touch of vibrancy. We arrived a little late; most of the leaves had fallen, and it was the dry season, so the waterfalls weren't at their most beautiful. The small Tianchi Lake wasn't worth visiting yet; it's small, the water quality is so-so, and the surrounding forests are bare. Overall, the autumn air was crisp and clear. The 50-kilometer stretch from the distribution center to the transfer center was beautiful, vibrant with color, and Tianchi Lake was stunning. I especially loved the forest at the bottom of the valley; the pine scent was wonderful! I highly recommend walking to the end; there are vast, fairytale-like forests there, and we were lucky enough to encounter foxes and quite a few chipmunks along the way!

I had heard about the Donggou Ancient Tomb a long time ago, so I went there on purpose. The navigation location was relatively accurate. I had to turn from the main road onto a small road and cross the railway track. The road was very narrow but fortunately there were few cars. Unfortunately, the park was not open, so I could only take pictures outside.

Overall, it's pretty good. Once you get there, you can rent a car. I didn't know how to drive at first, but with my years of driving experience, I learned quickly. This saves energy. You can download an app, locate yourself, and check out the attractions and waiting times. Boys might like the Dinosaur Extinction attraction, as well as some thrilling rides. Some attractions require separate fees, such as the Ice and Snow World and the Petting Zoo!

The scenic area was fantastic! I explored two different routes. The shuttle bus service was excellent and very convenient; it's free after you buy your ticket. The tour guides were also very responsible, reminding me of weather changes and recommended tour times. Thumbs up! I would definitely recommend the shuttle bus service to other friends.
