There's a lot of historical and cultural information, so a guided tour is definitely recommended. We rented an audio guide which can be listened to repeatedly, but hiring a guide might be even better. The scenery is also quite beautiful if you explore on your own. Half a day is enough to leisurely stroll around.

The park is huge; I got completely lost inside. The scenery is beautiful, and the facilities are quite complete. If you don't have a good sense of direction, it's easy to get lost. It's located in the city center, so transportation is very convenient, and there are plenty of places to eat near the entrance. It's just a bit of a leg workout. There's a really delicious beef noodle shop near the entrance.
