Caernarfon Castle
Caernarfon Castle is located in the center of Caernarfon and is a famous castle in northern Wales. Influenced by the architectural style of the Eastern Roman Empire, the towers of Caernarfon Castle are polygonal rather than round, and the walls feature distinctive geometric patterns. The castle is grand in scale, with passages connecting the various towers, and crisscrossing passages within the individual towers themselves, making it quite interesting to explore. The early owners were the Pennant family. 【View】An impressive and magnificent castle. During our visit, access to some areas was restricted due to ongoing restoration work, but this did not diminish our enjoyment of the site. There is a museum within the castle with several layers of Welsh and British history. Also interesting is an 8-minute film about the history of the castle, which is a fantastic addition to your overall experience. Large paid parking lot behind the castle, with ample parking and free toilets nearby
