King Xiang's Hometown
The Ancestral Home of Xiang Wang is located beneath Xuhai Road's former Yellow River bank in the southern suburbs of the city. It is the birthplace of Xiang Yu, the one-time overlord of the Western Chu. The descendants of Xiang Wang once set up a monument as a memorial to their ancestor but it was later destroyed during a period of turmoil. In 1935, the Yingfeng and Huai'an Pavilions were built. The Ancestral Home of Xiang Wang is surrounded on all four sides by "Commissioner"-type walls. From south to north the buildings and structures include a stone paifang, stone watchtower, great gate, the Yingfeng Pavilion and a room memorializing Xiang Wang. The Yingfeng Pavilion—one of the primary structures—has a statue of Xiang Yu. To either side of the main room in the Yingfeng Pavilion, there are displays of cultural relics. There are flower fields at Rainbow Bridge in June and July; they're very beautiful, but be sure to wear sunscreen.
The lotus flowers at Mirror Lake are also beautiful. It's a great place for a family stroll.
The scenic area's mini-train route has serious issues, causing you to miss most of the flower fields. To see the flowers, get off at the Children's Park station, then walk to the next intersection and turn left; that's the flower field at Rainbow Bridge (the mini-train will turn right at the intersection).
Alternatively, go to Mirror Lake station to see the lotus flowers. Don't go to the flower field on the left-hand side at Mirror Lake station; there are no flowers there this season. Go to the lake on the right-hand side; walk around the viewing platform to reach Mirror Lake.

I visited the wetland park during the National Day holiday. The scenery was beautiful, but the lotus leaves and reeds had already begun to wither. It should be even better if I come in August. The park has many flowers planted inside, making it a great place for taking photos.

The Yanghe Distillery Culture Park is also a showcase of the company's culture. Overall, it's excellent. It was quite fun, and the package deal wasn't expensive. In half a day, we enjoyed three rides, two water attractions, and watched three holographic experiences. If we had time to catch the shows and the evening fireworks display, it would have been even better value.
