Genghis Khan Park is located on Han Mountain in the northern part of Ulanhot city and is an urban mountain park built into the mountainside. The park is lush with trees, and hiking trails wind through it. It is not only a place for local citizens to take daily walks and exercise, but also a main destination for tourists visiting Ulanhot to learn about Mongolian history and culture. Inside the park stands a large bronze statue of Genghis Khan on horseback, which is one of the landmarks where visitors stop to take photos. The granite steps leading from the mountain gate to the summit spread out along the slope, and the process of climbing them is part of the fun of the visit. The park's highlight is the Genghis Khan Temple located on the top of Han Mountain. It was first built in the 1940s and is known as the "Western Mausoleum and Eastern Temple" together with the Genghis Khan Mausoleum in Ordos. The front of the temple is shaped like the Chinese character "shan" (mountain), blending Mongolian, Han, and Tibetan architectural styles. The hall houses a gilded bronze seated statue of Genghis Khan, and the interior and exterior of the hall display Yuan Dynasty weapons, clothing, books, and other items. Large murals on the walls depict the main experiences of his life, which are worth a slow and careful look. Han Mountain itself is not high, but the view from the top is expansive. The streetscape of Ulanhot and the winding Taoer River in the distance are in full view, and the scenery is especially beautiful at sunset on clear days. In summer and fall, the mountain is full of greenery, making the visiting experience more comfortable.Ulanhot · 3 km from downtown

A park in the city of Ulanhot. It's not very big and a bit dilapidated. There's a parking lot at the entrance. At the innermost part is the Genghis Khan Mausoleum. There's a fee. It looks like you have to climb quite a high staircase, so I didn't go up. Overall it's pretty good.

This is the most worthwhile place to visit in Ulanhot. It's a Tibetan Buddhist temple with spectacular scenery and grand temples, yet it's not crowded. It's a true Buddhist sanctuary. If you were in a big city, you'd be thronged with tourists. And best of all, it's free. It's 30 kilometers from the city center. A bus leaves from the Ulanhot Bus Station at 9:30 AM for 9 yuan per person. We arrived at Gegen Temple at 10:10 AM and returned at 11:10 AM. Since we usually didn't have enough time, we left at 12:30 PM and shared a taxi back to the city for 15 yuan each. We also requested three bracelets, which the temple master consecrated with great care and chanting.

Mei Jie traveled to China on the 64th day, in the afternoon, Ulanhot Ulanmuqi Palace Ulanmuqi Palace is a cultural venue with Ulanmuqi as the theme. The tradition of Ulanmuqi is to go deep into the grassland to perform for farmers and herdsmen. There are still various performances in the palace, but it is somewhat contrary to the traditional way. In fact, along the way we can see that some herdsmen choose to build houses and settle down, cultivate the land, harvest in all seasons, and the harvest and income are gradually not completely limited to nomadic breeding. The night view of Ulanmuqi Palace is very beautiful, and it has become a local landmark! Today, due to time constraints, I was unable to take pictures of the night view
