Zheyang Mountain Tourist Scenic Area
Located on the south side of Zhang County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, Zhayang Mountain is a local natural scenic spot in Zhang County. Zhayang Mountain is steep and has deep canyons. It is a good place for climbing and visiting canyons. There are also water flows, trees, etc., and the environment is beautiful. It is a rare landscape in the arid northwest region. Coming to Zhayang Mountain for tourism, it is said to be climbing, but in fact it is more about visiting the canyon. The peak of Zhayang Mountain is on the south side, and the entrance to the Attraction is on the north side. There are two canyons in the Attraction, Dongxi and Xixi, which can lead to the depths. At present, the main landscape is concentrated in the Xixi canyon. The canyon is about 7.5 kilometers long. Guiqing Mountain Tourism Scenic Area
Guiqing Mountain is located in the south of Zhang County, Dingxi City. It is a famous mountain with beautiful scenery on the Loess Plateau in Longzhong. Li Family Dragon Palace
Located in Miao'er Lane, Yixin Village, Nan'an Township, Longxi County, Li Family Dragon Palace was originally an ancestral shrine for the Li clan worldwide to honor their ancestors and strengthen family bonds. It became famous globally because Emperor Taizong of Tang personally inscribed the name "Li Family Dragon Palace." It is one of the important carriers and landmark buildings for studying the cultural heritage and relics of the Li clan in Longxi. In the 5th year of the Shunzhi reign of the Qing Dynasty, Li Family Dragon Palace was destroyed by war, leaving only the "Beitian Diyi Men" archway. It was rebuilt in the 1st year of the Kangxi reign. When Lü Peigao served as magistrate in the 37th year of the Kangxi reign, he hung a vertical plaque inscribed with "Yang Mi Gao" on the "Beitian Diyi Men." In the 5th year of the Tongzhi reign, Longxi City fell, and Li Family Dragon Palace suffered another disaster. It was renovated and expanded during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. Although its scale was far from its former glory, it was still nestled among mountains and waters, with staggered halls and pavilions, offering a unique charm. In September 2003, Li Family Dragon Palace officially opened to visitors. It has since hosted over 80 Li clan organizations from home and abroad, as well as Li clan organizations from 29 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across China, along with Li clan members and tourists from China and abroad who came to Longxi to sightsee and trace their roots. In 2006, Li Family Dragon Palace was successively named "Dingxi Patriotism Education Base" and "Gansu Patriotism Education Base" by the Dingxi Municipal Committee and the Gansu Provincial Committee, respectively. In 2011, the People's Government of Gansu Province declared Li Family Dragon Palace a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit. Lanzhou Danxia Geological Park
Lanzhou Danxia Geological Park is a key cultural tourism project in Gansu Province and a comprehensive cultural tourism initiative prioritized by the Lanzhou Municipal Committee and Government. The scenery is very nice, but the road is really long. I climbed the plank road for a long time and only walked halfway. I didn't reach the South Gate of Heaven! The only regret is that I didn't find the car to go up the mountain. I only heard people say that I could take a car to the top of the mountain!

Guiqing Mountain is located near Ba Ma Village, Caotan Township, 72 kilometers away from Zhang County, Gansu Province. The entire scenic area is 15 kilometers long from north to south and 2 to 5 kilometers wide from east to west. It connects 18 villages around it, so it is also known as the "Eighteen Villages of Guiqing". It is the most beautiful natural scenery in the Loess Plateau in Longzhong! There are virgin forests everywhere, and it is known as a natural botanical garden. Tourists who go to Gansu must go there to play.

The scenery in Jiuzhaigou is stunning, but the park's layout is lacking. The order of boarding the buses isn't optimal, easily leading to overcrowding and conflicts. Also, it's incredibly crowded, making it difficult to take photos. There's a lack of patience and consideration for others while waiting.

I originally planned to climb up myself, but then I realized it was a good idea to take the cable car. Climbing mountains at high altitudes is completely different from climbing on flat ground; what seems easy in normal times might not be so easy there. Anyway, taking the cable car up wasn't particularly slow, and we made it to almost 1 PM. If we had climbed, we definitely wouldn't have made it in time. Therefore, the cable car is essential. Taking the cable car up and hiking down is a more scientific way to enjoy the mountain.

It's definitely worth a visit. The autumn scenery is breathtaking, perfect for taking amazing photos. The experience was great and I'd definitely come back again. I'd love to come back and try other attractions. The staff at the scenic area were very friendly and provided excellent service. Thumbs up!

Lanzhou Danxia Geological Park is fabulous. One of the top three things I have done on this tour. I used Trip.com to get out to the park and that was very easy. Shuttle buses are necessary to get between the various vantage points. I would come for longer next time and do the zip line. I got an 8am bus from Xiaoxihu Subway Station and it leaves the Park at 12pm to return back to the city.

In winter, the Weihe River source scenic area is covered in silver, with frozen rivers and emerald green frost. The branches are covered with rime ice, resembling a world of jade. The snow-covered mountains are even more ethereal. Strolling through it, one feels a sense of tranquility and forgets words. It is a great value for money.
