Memorial Anchor

Located in Copenhagen, Memorial Anchor is on the shores of Nyhavn, which is not only a photo hotspot, but also a landmark commemorating Danish merchant ships and sailors. With rows of colorful cottages with a Scandinavian flair near the Anchor, and a popular pier across the street, the Little Mermaid statue is within easy reach, making it a must-visit in Copenhagen. Fun Route Suggestions: You can take a slow stroll from the main street of Nyhavn to feel the colorful historical buildings on both sides. When you visit Memorial Anchor, you might as well stop and enjoy the tranquil water view and surrounding atmosphere, and take a few photos. Afterwards, walk along the river bank for a while, where you can check in the Little Mermaid statue at once and feel the romantic style of the Danish fairy tale world. Must check-in spots: 1. The photo taken in front of Memorial Anchor with the background of the colorful house is very representative. 2. Panoramic views along the water along the banks of the Nyhavn River, perfect for morning or dusk photography, the sunlight reflecting the colored roof is beautiful. 3. The Little Mermaid statue, symbolizing fairy tales and the urban charm of Copenhagen. Attraction tips: - It's open year-round and you can visit anytime. - Recommended to come in the morning or evening, the light is the most beautiful, there are relatively few tourists, there is no waiting for photos. - Sundays and holidays will be more crowded, want to visit quietly can choose weekdays. - There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby, after visiting the anchor you can choose to sit down and have a cup of coffee to feel the slow life of Denmark. - The climate is changeable, remember to bring a windbreaker or jacket. Notes: Memorial Anchor is a public outdoor attraction that doesn’t require any tickets and is very casual even if it’s just for a walk. If winter comes, be aware that the ground may be wet and slippery, remember to wear a pair of suitable shoes. Closing topic: When you come to Copenhagen, you will be fascinated by the unique fairy tale atmosphere here! Which angle would you most like to photograph? Or interested in Danish sailor history? Copenhagen…a city of design full of life and color

New Harbor

Just got back from Copenhagen and honestly… what a vibe. It’s one of those cities that feels super chill but still packed with personality. The whole place is unbelievably clean, everyone’s on bikes, and there’s this low-key cozy energy that just kind of seeps into your bones. Nyhavn is picture-perfect (yes, it’s touristy, but it’s cute so who cares?), and I might’ve eaten my weight in cinnamon buns and smørrebrød. Found this quirky little food market at Reffen that was giving warehouse-meets-street-food-heaven. Also tried to blend in with the locals by sipping coffee in like 4 different minimalist cafés. It felt… aspirational. What surprised me most was how easy the city is to get around. Metro shows up like magic, and people are actually nice when you ask for directions. Christiania was wild in its own way—definitely a side of the city I wasn’t expecting, but glad I saw it. Copenhagen isn’t cheap (like, your wallet will notice), but it’s got that clean, organized, eco-friendly thing going that kind of makes up for it. You just feel healthier being there. Would go back in a heartbeat, maybe with a bit more budgeting next time 😅 #CopenhagenDiaries #ScandiStyle #copenhagen
