From Life to Faith: A Visit to the Museum of World Religions

The World Religions Museum, located on the 7th floor of No. 236, Section 1, Zhongshan Road, Yonghe District, New Taipei City, adjacent to Biyang Plaza (formerly Pacific Department Store), is a unique museum dedicated to promoting understanding and respect among different religions. The museum displays religious relics from all over the world, covering Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Taoism, Shintoism, Sikhism and other religions, and through multimedia interactive displays, allows visitors to gain a deep understanding of the spiritual connotations of various religions from many aspects such as art, literature, music, rituals and architecture.  🏛️ Museum Features and Exhibitions The World Religions Museum has two floors and 15 exhibition areas. Among them, the "World Religions Exhibition Hall" presents the rituals, artifacts and development of the world's ten major religions in Taiwan, allowing visitors to fully understand the characteristics and history of each religion. The "Life Journey Hall" uses artifacts, audio-visual and space design to present the interactive relationship between people and religions in the five major stages of life, such as birth, growth, middle age, old age and death, allowing visitors to think about the meaning of life through experience. In addition, there is also a "Forest of Love" Children's Pavilion in the museum, which allows children to learn the true meaning of love through games and exploration through interactive devices and experience facilities.   Currently, the museum is holding a number of special exhibitions, including "The Beauty of Religious Architecture" Jingliao Holy Cross Catholic Church Special Exhibition, "More Than 100 Species: Conservation Plan II-When Little Black Bears Meet Different Life", etc. The exhibition content covers a variety of themes such as religious architecture, life education and ecological protection, allowing the audience to appreciate art while thinking deeply about the relationship between humans and nature and faith.  🚇 Small information Transportation method: • MRT: • Take the MRT Zhonghe Xinlu Line (Orange Line) to "Dingxi Station". After exiting the station, you can take the Biyang Plaza free shuttle bus to get off at the main entrance of the museum. • Or transfer to bus 706, 297, 275, 51, 243 from Exit 2 of "Dingxi Station" and get off at "Baosheng Road Intersection".
