New Taipei Ruifang Attractions - Nanya Fishing Harbor Parking - Nanzilin Trail

It's been too long since I last hiked, and climbing straight to the summit almost knocked me out. There’s a pavilion halfway up where you can take a break. I didn’t realize how weak my cardio had become after not hiking for so long >< After reaching the pavilion, you're about halfway there. A few more turns and you'll be greeted by stunning 360-degree ocean views. The Nanzilin Trail is located behind Nanya Fishing Harbor in Ruifang. Locally known as "Nanzai Mian," the name refers to its position south of Shui Nan Dong heading towards Bitou Cape. At the summit, there’s a small star-shaped platform with a marker stone. From here, you can overlook the Nanya settlement, gaze south towards Kuling Ridge, No-Ear Teapot Mountain, Banping Mountain, Canguangliao Mountain, and the majestic Caoshan Mountain Range. If you don’t mind climbing stairs, this hike is highly recommended! 📍Nanzilin Trail, 196m elevation The trail is 1 km one way, and you can complete the round trip in about an hour without breaks. Currently, parking is not allowed inside the fishing harbor. However, there’s a free parking area next to the security checkpoint. Public restrooms are available near the temple entrance.
