The Qixing Ancient Town in Hebi is actually a cluster of ancient villages resembling the Big Dipper constellation. Located deep in the Taihang Mountains of Heshan District, Hebi City, Henan Province, it comprises seven ancient villages: Xiding Village, Wangjiachan Village, Dongqi Village, Huangmiaogou Village, Shijiagou Village, Huweigou Village, and Zhangjiagou Village. The villages are named for their natural resemblance to the Big Dipper constellation. These villages preserve generations of stone-built dwellings, simple yet powerful, like a traditional Chinese ink painting, each old house carrying a long and rich history.
