Things to do in Ningguo

The Ningguo section of the "Sichuan-Tibet Highway" in southern Anhui combines the scenic beauty of Guilin in Guangxi, the wonder of the Stone Forest in Yunnan, and the ruggedness of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway (National Highway 318), making it a highly recommended self-driving route in East China. Five stars! The scenery is stunning. Although it's a bit monotonous and boring, there are few people, so you can enjoy the view all to yourself. The straw-cooked rice at the pier is also delicious. It's a great place to visit quietly without kids.

It was a last-minute trip, but so many little surprises! The kids and Mom were both very happy with the courtyard we chose. The place was cozy and simply decorated, with each room having its own courtyard. The whole family enjoyed eating and drinking there, feeling comfortable in nature – it was perfect! The courtyard also had a restaurant, which we ate in – it felt just like eating outdoors in the summer when we were kids. The kids had a blast…

The walkway in the lake can be said to be a view as soon as you turn around, but I only regret that the camera is not G enough! Arrived at Chujiatan, the first stop of the Sichuan-Tibet Line in southern Anhui, in the evening of 2022/10/29. There were very few people, probably because of the epidemic control. The scenery was beautiful. We camped here for one night, and there were many ✨ at night, but unfortunately the mobile phone could not take good pictures.

The scenery is highly seasonal. It is best around November 20 this year, and the 5 days before and after are the best period. It is best to avoid weekends because of severe traffic jams. The highlight is the bald redwood forest, which is very beautiful, but there is no beautiful scenery after the season.

The environment here is relatively primitive, and the Sky Mirror is nice! You can bring the elderly and children here to play. If there is enough rain, the waterfall will be more beautiful! There are famous hotels around, the food is delicious and the price is affordable. Suitable for self-driving tours.
