Longtan Cave is located in Miyi County's Baima Town in Panzhihua. The sights within the scenic area are glorious to behold. Visitors here can admire the beauty of nature, as well as get some exercise in the form of mountain climbing. Within the cave, wondrous stalactites can be seen. The strange shape of the stalactites is complemented by the lighting, making for a very beautiful view. The cave has waterfalls both large and small, which are both magnificent and imposing. Throughout the 1,000-meter-long cave, there are six waterfalls with a drop of more than 15 meters. Such a sight is rare to see.Miyi · 14.6 km from downtown

Jinsha River Grand Canyon is a V-shaped canyon carved by the Jinsha River through the Panxi Rift Valley. Ochre cliffs stand nearly vertically along the riverbank, and the river winds through the mountains like a ribbon. The mountains on both banks have been shaped by millions of years of water erosion and weathering, leaving the rock strata clearly visible. A viewing platform at an altitude of approx. 1600 m is located on the cliff top, where you can lean over the railing to look down at the steep, deep valley below, with clouds and mist surging in the valley bottom after rain. During the dry season in winter and spring, the river water is clear and blue-green, contrasting with the red cliffs. When the light hits at an angle in the early morning or evening, the textures and color layers of the cliffs are particularly distinct.Panzhihua · 45.9 km from downtown

Ertan National Forest Park is composed of the high-gorge lake formed by the Ertan Hydropower Station damming the Yalong River, along with the surrounding vast mountain forests. It covers a total area of over 700 sq km, with a forest coverage rate of nearly 90%. After the dam began impounding water in the late 1990s, the turbulent river water transformed into a vast lake surface of over 100 sq km, flanked by mountains and dotted with islands. The double-curvature arch dam, over 200 m high, spans the Yalong River canyon and is an iconic view in the park. The internal terrain here is primarily mountainous canyons, with the Yalong River flowing through. Along the river, you can see relatively steep slopes, river valleys, and the reservoir water surface. Forest vegetation is distributed among the mountains, and the vegetation views vary at different altitudes. There are also some islands in the water, giving the lake area a strong sense of spatial layering.Yanbian · 13.4 km from downtown

The Johor Bahru Rice Terraces are a natural attraction famous for their spectacular terraced landscape. The terraces are built on the mountain, layer upon layer, showing different colors and styles as the seasons change. In spring, the fields are full of water, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds; in summer, the fields are lush and green, and the rice grows luxuriantly; in autumn, the fields are golden and the harvest scene is moving. Tourists can hike along the paths in the fields to experience the magnificence of the terraces and the charm of farming culture up close. Early morning and evening are good times to take pictures of the terraces, with the light and shadow interlaced, and the scenery is particularly charming. Yishala Village is an ancient Lipu Yi ethnic village with a history of over 600 years. It was strategically located on the post road of the ancient Southern Silk Road and served as an important stopover for merchant caravans. Here, there is a complex of red-walled courtyard houses built along the mountain: the sloping tiled roofs and horse-head walls bear the traces of Jiangsu and Anhui residential architecture, while the carved window lattices conceal Yi ethnic totems. Walking through the winding alleys feels like stepping into a Jiangnan water town and a Yi mountain village at the same time. The viewing platform at the village entrance offers an overlook of the layered courtyards and distant terraced fields, with the scenery being even more enchanting at dusk. The old artifacts in the village history museum silently recount the past stories of passing caravans and the coexistence of the Yi and Han people. Walking through the village, you can see buildings, stone walls, and courtyards with local characteristics, and also feel a distinct atmosphere of rural life.Panzhihua · 43.5 km from downtown

After more than 20 years of construction, there are scenic spots such as Heroes' Monument, Recreation Area, Rare Zoo Area and so on. The park has the unique characteristics of a mountain city park, and the top of the park is an excellent photo spot overlooking the panorama of Panzhihua. The park is full of birds and flowers, all kinds of plants and flowers, and the air is fresh. Every day, many local people walk, run, and exercise in the park, which is the first choice for citizens to relax. It was my first time seeing a waterfall inside a cave. It was beautiful, and the cave was very cool. It's 1800 meters long, with a few steep staircases, but also a few chairs where you can rest. Walking and resting along the way wasn't tiring. The main problem was the descent after exiting the cave; there were no places to rest, and I had to keep walking. My calves ached for several days. When I got home, I asked Doubao, and he said there are over 900 steps down the mountain. I went on the 25th and didn't see any sightseeing buses.

Jinsha River Grand Canyon | A Crack in the Earth, a Visually Stunning Experience of a Thousand Years Standing on the viewing platform, my breath caught in my throat. Below me lay bottomless, ochre-red cliffs; before me, the Jinsha River meandered like a giant python, this wild water, cleaving the Hengduan Mountains, carving a deep and precipitous V-shaped canyon through the mountains. The river wasn't the muddy yellow I had imagined; instead, it shimmered with emerald green and azure blue under the sunlight, creating a striking contrast with the reddish mountains, as if the earth's exposed sinews and flowing blood converged here. Walking along the boardwalk, the mountain wind, carrying moisture, rushed towards me, and the roar of the river crashing against the rocks filled my ears, sometimes like rolling thunder, sometimes like a stampede of horses. Looking down at the river, the rapids crashed against the treacherous shoals, creating snow-white waves; whirlpools swirled with undercurrents, making one marvel at the grandeur and untamed power of nature. In the distance, Tiger Leaping Rock lies across the river, a massive boulder said to have been used by tigers to leap across the ravine. Appearing small yet resolute in the rushing water, it silently witnesses millions of years of geological changes. Besides the natural wonders, the cultural imprints here are also worth exploring. The ancient plank road ruins on the cliffs are a testament to the wisdom of our ancestors in their struggle against the treacherous terrain; the smoke rising from the villages along the banks adds a touch of warmth to the desolate canyon. Hiking here, you can experience the grandeur of "mountains stretching to both banks, with no gaps," and also encounter the gentle beauty of wildflowers blooming around every bend. Tips: - The best time to visit is during the winter and spring dry season, when the river is clear and the colors are more vibrant; - The canyon is windy, so bring a windproof jacket; the hiking trails are steep, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended; - You can combine this visit with exploring the nearby Ancient Tea Horse Road and ethnic minority villages to experience the fusion of nature and culture. Here, there is no urban hustle and bustle, only the magnificence of mountains and rivers and the echoes of history. If you're yearning for a truly soul-stirring journey, the Jinsha River Grand Canyon will not disappoint. #JinshaRiverGrandCanyon #OffTheBeatenPathDiscovery #RoadTrip #HealingScenery #GeographicalWonder #Hiking

In April 2016, the museum was officially named "Panzhihua China Third Line Construction Museum" with the approval of the General Office of the State Council, becoming the second "national" theme museum in Sichuan Province, filling the gap of "national" theme museums for the Third Line Construction in the country. The exterior of the Panzhihua China Third Line Museum is like a blooming Panzhihua, with a yellow exterior color, symbolizing that Panzhihua's development is gradually moving towards glory. The internal facilities are an energy-saving and transparent design. Panzhihua has more than 300 days of sunshine throughout the year, which symbolizes that Panzhihua City is a shining pearl in the southwest region.

This ethnic cultural village is quite nice, but one problem is parking. There are unregulated parking lots everywhere, and they all charge 10 yuan. I wonder when a proper parking lot will be built so that people can stop here and properly enjoy the scenery.

It's a bit sunny during the day, so it's recommended to come at night. The lights are very beautiful, there are also performances, and it's more cost-effective to buy an annual pass. You can come here for a walk at night if you have nothing to do. There are also children's entertainment. There are many restaurants and a zoo inside, which are all under renovation. It will be more fun when the renovation is completed.
