Yehe Nara Ancient City
Yehe Nara Ancient City attraction was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction in 2014. The current Yehe Nara Ancient City was rebuilt in 1994, covering an area of 145,000 m² with a construction area of 14,000 m². It is located at the site of the capital of the Yehe tribe, the ancestors of the Manchu people in the Ming Dynasty, now in the Dongshan area of Zhuan Mountain Lake, Yehe Manchu Town, Tiedong District, Siping City, a national historical and cultural town. The overall architecture features the style of an ancient castle and the view of a mirage, making it a tourist area that combines historical and cultural views with natural scenery. The core attraction features Qing dynasty-style architecture with gray bricks and tiles. Construction began in 1994 and was completed in 1995. It served as a filming location for the TV series Princess Yehenara. The attraction includes towering arrow towers, massive city walls, and majestic corner towers, housing exhibits such as the Yehe tribal history hall, Nalan Xingde's poetry garden, empress hall, Manchu traditional costume gallery, Manchu folk art museum, 7D cinema, and the five-corner pavilion. The attraction systematically showcases the historical culture of the Yehe tribe, Nalan culture, empress culture, costume culture, and folk traditions. The Siping Battle Memorial Hall is a holy place for red tours and a base for youth education. It is located at No. 60, Yingxiong Street, Siping City, Jilin Province (postal code is 136000), with a construction area of 2,700 square meters. Above the main entrance are seven large gold-plated characters "Siping Battle Memorial Hall", which were inscribed by Comrade Peng Zhen. According to the use function, it is divided into five major areas: exhibition area, collection area, office area, comprehensive service area and central control area, of which the exhibition hall area is 3,000 square meters. There are 8 main exhibition halls in the exhibition area, including the preface hall, war history hall, support hall, hero hall, semi-scenery painting hall, film and television hall, and temporary exhibition hall. In December 2016, it was selected into the "National Red Tourism Attractions and Scenic Spots List".

Dagushan is a nice scenic spot with fresh air and special snacks. The roasted pigeon is a must-try. I have only been there once with my friends. It was a pity that I went at night and missed the beautiful scenery. I only enjoyed the roasted pigeon.

From Siping Railway Station, head north and pass the Memorial Tower Road. The Siping City Museum is on the west side. The opening hours are different from what I checked on Baidu.
The first stop in Siping was closed, so Baidu is terrible. The staff kept telling us that all museums are closed on Mondays...
Luckily, I came out and found that the Siping Battle Memorial Hall was also closed for maintenance.
