China Snow Town is also known as Shuangfeng (“Twin Peaks”) Forest Farm. The snow quality here is very good, with high cohesion. In the wintertime, you can see many snowbanks naturally formed into all kinds of styles, including the famous "snow mushroom". You can experience the excitement of wintertime by skiing, snow tubing, or having a snowball fight. Or head over to lively Xueyun Street to buy a frozen persimmon or the Xuexiang Dream Home to see a beautiful "snow mushroom". There is no end to the fun. Of course, outdoor enthusiasts won't want to miss hiking up Yangcao Mountain and experiencing Snow Town's unique charm in the forested snowfield.China · Hailin

The Liuding Mountain Cultural Tourism Area is located in the southern suburbs of Dunhua. Nestled among mountains and rivers with surrounding peaks, it presents a magnificent landscape. Liudingshan Cultural Tourism Area is very large, and you can travel between attractions by shuttle. The attraction also features two major highlights: the Qing Dynasty Ancestral Culture Museum and the ancient tombs. If time permits, you can continue exploring these sites. The Balhae Kingdom ancient tombs are located in the Dingding Mountain area northwest of the attraction. In 698 AD, Dae Jo-yeong, leader of the Mohe Sumo tribe, established the Jin Kingdom in Dunhua, which was later granted the title "King of Balhae" by Emperor Xuanzong of Tang and lasted over 200 years. As the early royal mausoleum of Balhae, the Dingding Mountain tomb complex features simple yet integrated architecture that blends with the mountainous landscape. Today, visitors can explore two tomb sections containing over 100 graves of various sizes. Particularly valuable artifacts include the stone lions and epitaphs excavated from Princess Jeonghye's tomb.Dunhua · 6.2 km from downtown

Ten-Mile Ice and Snow Gallery

Ten-Mile Ice and Snow Gallery

Ten-Mile Ice and Snow Gallery is near Datudingzi Mountain and is a natural rime landscape belt on the round-trip route between Yabuli Ski Resort and Xuexiang National Forest Park, with an elevation of approx. 1,370 m, which is several hundred meters higher than Xuexiang National Forest Park. This area is surrounded by mountains, where warm, humid air currents and cold air frequently meet. With a snow season that can last for more than half a year, water vapor cools and condenses on the branches, forming rime and snow hanging that stretches for several kilometers. The entire forest is blanketed in silver, with jade-like branches spreading along the way, almost entirely consisting of untouched, primitive forest and snowfields. Visiting here is more than just viewing from a car window: you can ride a snowmobile over the ridge and gallop through the forest and snowfields, or take a horse-drawn sled to slowly pass through the trees covered in rime. Along the way, you can also encounter wooden house courtyards in the forest areas of Weihuzhai and Gouxiongling, with plump snow mushrooms piled on the roofs.Dunhua · >100 km from downtown
Xueyun Street

Xueyun Street

Xueyun Street is the main road of Xuexiang, the most lively street in Xuexiang, and the night scene in winter is very beautiful. There are various shops and hotels on both sides of this street, which is only 500 meters long. You can also see many restaurants and stalls on the side of the road, as well as the popular attraction Dream Home. Xueyun Street was originally a small forest railway station in the forest farm, and now it has become a commercial street in Xuexiang Township. On the night of the peak tourist season, the street is full of lanterns and tourists are crowded, just like a prosperous scene. You can buy some snacks such as frozen persimmons and frozen pears on the roadside, or you can go to farm restaurants to taste Northeastern cuisine. It is worth mentioning that there is a small hill behind the dream home (outside the park, you can pass through the alley next to Xueyun Street), which is a good place to overlook the panoramic view of the village, and is often occupied by long guns and short guns. In the evening, you can take pictures of the beautiful scenery of the village under the curling smoke.China · Hailin

Although many say China's Snow Town is becoming too touristy & expensive (compared to Snow Valley), I think it is still worth visiting. There are lots of ACTIVITIES to do all within walking distance. Reindeer rides, feeding, skiing, photo op including the hot water vapor video etc. One down side is that there was no signage to designated bus to/from Yabuli station (no waiting area either). It is also difficult to find restaurants for people with dietary restrictions (eg. Vegetarian, halal etc).

Worth a visit. There's a free shuttle bus from the high-speed rail station to the scenic area, taking only about ten minutes. Half an hour is enough for the Qing Ancestral Temple. Ideally, you should spend three hours at the Zhengjue Temple Buddha, taking your time to climb, explore, and take photos. The scenery is beautiful.

If you have time, definitely buy the package ticket on the bus—it's super fun! Some people brought several large plastic bags; you can ski and roll around on the mountain! (It's difficult without plastic bags, as they don't sell them on the mountain!)

It was pretty bad. It was crowded and chaotic. If the first gate didn't check tickets, why had someone stop people to check them? Then there was a second ticket check at the second place—WTF?! There were no QR codes for the tickets either. Multiple checks in the freezing cold, and still paper tickets—so primitive! See the video for how chaotic it was? And the parking lot was unmanaged. In short, the management was terrible. The old man checking tickets at the gate even had the audacity to say things like, "We've never even flown before." Honestly, Hallasan Mountain is covered in snow, like something out of Narnia, the climb is easy, and it's free—isn't that great?

It is best to avoid holidays when visiting Xuexiang, as the prices of various attractions during holidays will be higher than usual. There are many food, accommodation and transportation shops on Xueyun Street, and the prices are relatively cheaper.

A Buddhist holy land with beautiful mountains, beautiful waters and beautiful people. Here is the world's largest bronze statue of Sakyamuni. Walking on the road to the temple, you will feel extremely calm and relaxed. The lotus pond in summer is very beautiful~ Here is also the Qingzu Temple: the birthplace of the Qing royal family. It is a national 5A-level scenic spot, worth recommending

The Great Snow Valley is very close to the Snow Village and is also a very beautiful scenic spot. There are two routes, A and B. Route A is easy and Route B is exciting. If you don't have enough time, you can go directly to Route B, which can directly reach the highest peak in Heilongjiang, Xuelong Peak. On Route A, you will encounter mythical animals, elks, roe deer, and see the snow scenery in the mountains. This is also the filming location of Where Are We Going, Dad? It is very worthwhile to come!!!

Xuexiang Cultural Exhibition Hall: A free treasure tour Walking into the Xuexiang Cultural Exhibition Hall, a free but extremely wonderful cultural tour begins, and the experience is perfect. The exhibition layout in the hall is exquisite and reasonable, from the historical origins of Xuexiang to the unique folk customs, one by one is clearly presented. Those ancient production and living utensils, like messengers traveling through time, silently tell the tenacity and wisdom of the ancestors in this land of ice and snow. The realistic scene restoration vividly reproduces the traditional life scenes of Xuexiang people, allowing people to experience the changes of time as if they were there. In the folk culture exhibition area, the exquisite paper-cutting art is amazing, and pieces of red paper are transformed into vivid flowers, birds, fish and insects in the hands of artists; the gorgeous Northeast costumes, with delicate embroidery and unique style, show the charm of regional culture. The staff are enthusiastic and professional, and the explanations are detailed. They answered our questions and gave us a deeper understanding of the cultural connotation of Xuexiang. This tour not only enriched the knowledge reserve, but also made the culture of Xuexiang deeply imprinted in our hearts. It was an unforgettable trip with full harvest.
