Since we were at Gyeongbokgung Palace, we had to take some photos in a Hanbok, especially since wearing one gets you free admission. Outside the subway exit, there were Hanbok rental shops everywhere, and all the signs were clearly designed to attract foreign tourists. We just picked one at random that wasn't crowded and looked a bit cleaner, thinking we would get it done quickly since it was so hot. The prices were about the same everywhere. Since we did our own makeup, we only needed the clothes and hair styling. Aside from the clothes being a bit cleaner, the hair styling was disappointing. It felt like a trap with lots of hidden costs, and they kept trying to upsell us, so I would not recommend it. Gyeongbokgung Palace is quite spacious, and personally, I found the architecture a bit monotonous and difficult to photograph on a sunny day. If you go on a sunny day, it is best to go early in the morning or late in the day. We finally called it a day just as we were sweating profusely, our patience was completely exhausted, and our family harmony was on the verge of collapse.
